25 years in the professional presenting business
My background is in broadcast journalism, presenting and public speaking, having worked across TV, theatre and live events for many years. I run Businesses On Screen alongside my presenter talent agency Perfect Match Presenters, helping match experienced presenters with a wide variety of presenting and voiceover jobs on TV, radio, online and for live events.
My hands-on professional presenting experience has taught me what it takes to make the perfect presenter. That’s why, in 2017, I launched Businesses on Screen!
Why Businesses On Screen?
Even the most experienced presenters feel the nerves and need to give themselves time to prepare.
I coach individuals and groups to get over the fear of being in front of the camera and on stage by teaching them how to connect with their audience in a personable and authentic way.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic, we have all been forced to do business differently; often online via video calls or even being thrust onto digital stages at global hybrid events!
While presenting to camera comes as second nature to me, I understand it is a whole new ball game compared to communicating to a room full of people if you’re not used to it or if you’ve had no training or previous experience.
Presentation skills workshops and public speaking training
My group presentation skills workshops, 1-to-1 coaching sessions and ‘lunch and learns’ take place via Zoom or in-person, in and around London and globally online. I have also created a ‘self-serve’ online course to help beginners boost their confidence on camera in business.
It’s been a real thrill to watch my clients grow in confidence in front of camera enabling them to broadcast regularly on YouTube, Facebook Live, IGTV, LinkedIn and through their own websites and internal communications platforms.
